Why do you schedule a Meet & Greet?

The meet and greet is a chance for us to not only get to know your animals, but also you! Solgave Animal Solutions uses this time to assess the needs of our clients and get to know the animals we hope to be working with. Whether it’s walking your dog, horse sitting at your ranch, or providing pet taxi services it’s very important that we get to customize a plan that meets both you and your animals needs.   This is the time we will arrange to pick up a key (or use one of soon to be ordered lock boxes for your convenience) as well and go over initial client forms to get started with our services!

 

What areas do you service?

We currently service most of Northwest Arkansas.  Occasionally we do get requests for service outside of our regular territory. These requests are always considered and certain locations can be accommodated for a small mileage surcharge. Just ask us if you’re too far and we’ll let you know.

 

Can I trust Solgave Animal Solutions?

Absolutely! Solgave Animal Solutions employs only the most courteous, trustworthy and responsible dog, cat, and horse lovers to look after your animals. For extra assurance we are fully bonded and insured and rely on background checks and extensive screening for all Solgave Animal Solutions staff.

 

Do you walk in inclement weather?

Rain? Not a problem! Snow? If travel is safe. Thunderstorms? Not if there is any lightning. In cases of inclement weather we will substitute a walk with an indoor play session as long as travel to and from your home is considered safe.

 

What if I need to cancel?

As long as you contact us by 6pm the day before you will not be charged for a next-day dog walk. Any pet sitting service schedule adjustment must be received more than 24 hours from the first scheduled visit to avoid full payment. Pet sitting service called within one week, and prior to 24 hours will receive a credit minus a $25 convenience. Pet sitting service cancelled with more than seven days notice can be refunded in full.*

*Any of our package deals (Buying 10 or 20 units of dog walking/pet sitting) are NOT eligible to  get a refund.  Any pre-purchased days that were negotiated at a reduced rate and booked for more than 7 days are also not eligible for a refund.  We can extend a credit for the value of days not used if contacted a week prior to service.

 

I have three dogs. Do you charge extra for additional pups?

No way!

 

Will my dog always be walked by the same person?

It cannot be guaranteed with the constant changes to client schedules and also to make accommodations to the schedules of our dog walkers. We will, however, try our best to schedule a regular walker. Keep in mind, that no walker will ever be assigned to your dog(s) without meeting them with a familiar walker first! You will be notified if schedule changes affect your dog(s).

 

Do you walk on weekends or evenings?

Absolutely, because we customize our plans to suit YOUR NEEDS.  These walks should be scheduled with as much advanced notice as possible to ensure our availability.

 

I only need service once in a while. Can you still help?

Of course. Just contact us as soon as possible so that we can make sure there is a place for your animal in our schedule. If you are a first time client you will also need to be sure to give us time to schedule a Meet & Greet prior to your scheduled visits.

 

How can I pay?

At this time we will accept cash, check, paypal,  and a mobile CC processing system (Square Payment systems). Payments must be mailed to us on or before the first day of service in a given week or month. You may choose a weekly or monthly billing cycles – whichever suits your needs better. Discounts are given for clients paying in advance on monthly cycles. During the meet and greet we will go over the option that is best for you and your family.

 

What if I need last-minute service?

While we cannot guarantee last minute service, Solgave Animal Solutions prides itself on going above and beyond meeting our clients expectations and will do everything in our power to meet your needs.

 

What about holidays?

Solgave Animal Solutions observes the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. The holiday is defined as two days before, and two days after, meaning a total of five days. Service can be requested on holidays, but will not always be granted. Any service scheduled on one of these holidays will be subject to an additional fee.

 

What are your hours?

We will service your pets at just about any time you request. Early mornings, late evenings, you name it! We do observe office hours for our administrative duties and those are from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday. If you need to reach us after hours, please submit an email to solgaveanimalsolutions@gmail.com with URGENT in the subject line and we will contact you ASAP.
